When You Book a Flight to Uruguay, Be Careful about the Connecting Flight in Buenos Aires

Many long haul flights to Uruguay have a plane change in Buenos Aires. There are two airports in Buenos Aires. One is Ministro Pistarini International Airport , commonly known as Ezeiza International Airport (Airport code: EZE) . The other is Aeroparque J. Newberry (Airport Code: AEP). Sometimes when you book a trip online, the booking engine will have you arrive in Buenos Aries at EZE, but the connection to or from Montevideo, Uruguay, is through AEP. These airports are not close together! If this happens, you need to go through customs, leave EZE, take a long freeway taxi ride, and then go the other airport. (And who know about your luggage.) So to avoid having this happen to you, simply make sure that both your arrival and your connection are from EZE.
