Tips for Outback Driving

Roads are often in a very bad condition. It is easy to drive too fast. Maintain a safe pace to avoid accidents. Carry enough water for 5 days and in the event of an accident or breakdown, wait for help. If you travel in a really remote area, notify someone of your travel plans and carry navigation and communications equipment:
