Important Suncare Tips and Facts


Apply sunscreen 15 to 30 minutes before you get in the sun.
Avoid baking and sun exposure during the peak hours between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
How much is too much sun screen? Try this ... 1 fluid ounce per full body application for adults. 1/2 for children.
Water can remove most sunscreens. Always reapply after toweling.
Use extra protection for sensitive areas like the face, shoulders, chest, and lips.
Water, sand, snow, and pavement work like mirrors and can intensify exposure.
BEWARE! You can burn if you take medications such as certain antibiotics, antihistamines, and antidepressants.
Redness from sunburn can take up to 24 hours to show.
