Hawaii is 'Laid Back'

Hawaiian Time - When in Hawaii don't be in a rush. You're on vacation and it's time to relax. There's no need to drive fast. Passing other cars in some situations is still considered offensive and disrespectful in smaller towns. If you're in a rental car, you're already sticking out - so be considerate and drive with aloha. When you're out and about try 'wait'. This means being courteous when waiting. It's time to talk stories with the locals and to understand why the real treasure of Hawaii is its people. Lucky we live aloha. Enjoy your visit with love in your heart, and your experiences in Hawaii will exceed your wildest dreams. All on Hawaiian time.
