Stranraer is the largest settlement in south-west area of Scotland, lying at the head of Loch Ryan. It is best known as a ferry port connecting Scotland with Belfast in Northern Ireland.
There is not too much to do here, but the town provides a list of attractions that include Port Logan, the fish pond that invite everyone that enjoys fishing, some beautiful botanical gardens, and also the beach from the Sandhead, the Mull of Galloway and the scenery at Portpatrick.
The centre of the town seems to be very attractive and sparking, especially if you get here on a sunny day, because the bright and white colours of the buildings transform it into a small and nice jewel.
