Bertrix is a town and municipality in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. The municipality has about 8000 inhabitants.
The other nuclei around the city are: Acremont, Assenois, Auby-sur-Semois, Biourge, Blanchoreille, Cugnon, Jenonville, Glaumont, Mortehan, Nevraumont, Orgeo, Rossartand Sart.
Even Bertrix is not a very big town, it provides with many places and buildings that are part of the protected heritagage of the city and worth a visit: the rural building, the Wash-house near the church, the Church of Saint-Remi and the ensemble of the church, the graveyard around the church and its surrounding churchyard wall, town hall, an area with trees, situated between the road and the cemetery, rectory and garden around back are amazing places and you will definitely like them. The building Roussel which is currently a farm, the rural building situated on the Sambre (currently farm), the agricultural operation in the hamlet Mortehan, the Ponds Luchy, the former bed of Semois area known as "la Noue", the Church of Saint-Hubert and the cross, the wall of the old cemetery and the ensemble formed by the wall, the cross and the land on which they are located are also amazing spots from the town.
