   Welcome to Arley!

   Arley is a place which is located in the Winston County of Alabama, USA. As of the census of 2000, Arley had 290 inhabitants. According to an estimate from the year 2005 there were 321 inhabitants. The town has a total area of 7.3 km.

   As of the census of 2000, Arkley had 290 inhabitants, distributed to 123 households. The population density is 44 inhabitants ² / km. 99.31% of the population are white. In 22% of households living children under the age of 18. 15.4% of the population live below the poverty line.

   Hoyt Ray Johnson (November 30, 1935 -  August 9, 1989) was an American Country – Rockabilly and gospel musician. Johnson was during his career with various labels under the contract, but never achieved a major breakthrough. Hoyt Johnson was born in 1935 in Arley, Alabama, located in the vicinity of Jasper, Alabama. He grew up at the farm of his parents. Johnson was born into a musical family, each family member played an instrument, and his mother even wrote their own songs.
